Life without art would be like a Christmas tree without ornament, a black and white rainbow or a poem without rhyme. Life without art would be sad and frightening, it would mean the end of humanity as a whole as art is an expression of each of us. There would be no expression to lift our spirit. Inspiration would die like the rest of all these powerful emotions that give birth to creativity. Art smoothes the pain and takes you places you don’t even dream of. I need art to escape the dark difficulties of everyday life. Either the sound of an instrument, the beauty of a canvas, the delicate move of a ballerina or the beauty of a three-dimensional sculpture, art is essential to my life. Art is like the air we breathe, without it there is no life anymore.
